Soccer Recap: Johnstown Takes a Loss

After flying high against Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville on Monday, Johnstown came back down to earth. The Sir Bills fell 2-0 to the Berne-Knox-Westerlo Bulldogs on Wednesday. It was the first time this season that Johnstown let down their fans at home.

Johnstown's loss dropped their record down to 6-2-1. As for Berne-Knox-Westerlo, their record now sits at 7-1-3.

Coming up, Johnstown will square off against Cobleskill-Richmondville at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Berne-Knox-Westerlo, they will face off against Fonda-Fultonville at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
