Basketball Recap: Forest City Has No Trouble Against Carbondale Area

Forest City hadn't done well against Carbondale Area recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Forest City Foresters strolled past the Carbondale Area Chargers with points to spare, taking the game 43-29. The match marked the Foresters' most dominant victory of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Forest City and bumps their season record up to 3-9. As for Carbondale Area, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Blue Ridge the next time they take the court. Forest City will head out to face Blue Ridge at 6:45 p.m. on Monday, while Carbondale Area will host them at 7:15 p.m. on January 16th.
