Soccer Game Preview: Sunnyside vs. Marana

Sunnyside hasn't had much luck against Marana recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Sunnyside Blue Devils will head out to face off against the Marana Tigers at 6:00 p.m.

Sunnyside is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 13th straight game on Thursday. They lost 8-0 to Tucson High Magnet School.

Meanwhile, Marana came tearing into Thursday's game with five straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Rangers onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Considering the Tigers have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Marana has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those ten games. As for Sunnyside, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.

Sunnyside might still be hurting after the 5-1 loss they got from Marana in their previous meeting on January 15th. Can Sunnyside avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
