Center Grove is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Franklin Central 4-3.

Meanwhile, Brownsburg faced Avon in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Orioles 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted against the Orioles since April 27, 2023.

On the hitting side, Brownsburg's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Colin McNeer, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.
