Softball Recap: Crimson Cliffs Extends Winning Streak to Five

Crimson Cliffs entered their tilt with Dixie on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Flyers with a sharp 7-1 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gracee Stucki spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Addie Brinkerhoff was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacelyn Larson, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Crimson Cliffs now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Dixie, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-16.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Crimson Cliffs beat the Flyers by a score of 11-1 on Thursday.
