Football Game Recap: Cold Springs vs. Winston County

Cold Springs entered their game against Winston County on Friday without any home losses -- but there's a first time for everything. Cold Springs suffered a grim 8-40 defeat to Winston County. The state rankings had actually given Cold Springs a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

Cold Springs are on a three-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 4-3. The victory bumped Winston County's record up to 3-4.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Cold Springs take on Tarrant at 7:00 PM. As for Winston County, they will face off against Southeastern. Winston County will be strutting in after a win while Southeastern will be stumbling in from a loss.
