Baseball Recap: Stevens Takes a Loss

Stevens lost against Harlan back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Falcons took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jordan Vargas was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. John Tejeda was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Stevens' loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Harlan, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season.

While Stevens had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
