Baseball Recap: Coosa Christian Takes a Loss

Coosa Christian and Hubbertville squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Coosa Christian had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 4-3. The Conquerors just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Cameron Robertson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Jd Justus was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Coosa Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Hubbertville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

While Coosa Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
