Recap: Century Jaguars vs. Gresham Gophers
The Century Jaguars won the last time they faced the Gresham Gophers, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Century had just enough and edged Gresham out 43-40.
Kami Carmean continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 12 steals. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Abbie Scharringhausen, who scored five points along with ten rebounds.
Century is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Gresham, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Century will take on Aloha at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Gresham, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Barlow at 7:30 p.m.
