Volleyball Recap: Gates County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Gates County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Manteo Redskins. The Red Barons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Redskins from their previous meeting back in August of 2022.

Gates County's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Manteo, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Gates County is set to challenge their familiar foe Bertie at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Manteo will square off against rival Camden County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
