Softball Recap: Idaho Falls Sets Scoring Season-High Against Shelley

Idaho Falls was forced to take a big loss against they on Wednesday, they got the better of them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Shelley Russets by a score of 13-9. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Olivia Cordon was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Shea Salem, who went 1-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Idaho Falls kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive matches.

Idaho Falls' record now sits at 6-8. As for Shelley, they dropped their record down to 12-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.
