Markell Carothers, North Gaston's leader in assists on the season, led the team again on Tuesday. Despite the defeat, Carothers was still balling out as he went 8 of 20 en route to 25 points along with eight boards and five assists. That's the most assists he has posted since back in December of 2023.

Carothers and North Gaston will take on Ashbrook at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
