Football Recap: Kohala Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four contests, Kohala finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They took a blow against the Honoka'a Dragons, falling 48-0. The Cowboys have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Kohala's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 4-4. As for Honoka'a, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kohala will challenge Pahoa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Daggers have played have been within three points, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Honoka'a, they will square off against Kealakehe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons will be up against the Waveriders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.44 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
