Softball Recap: Dublin Takes a Loss

The Dublin Lions came up short against the Brady Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 16-6.

Dublin saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haden Keilers, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that Keilers launched this season. Cassidy Adair was another, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Dublin now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Brady, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Dublin will be playing in front of their home fans against Texas Wind at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dublin has given up an average of 11.3 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Brady, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-0 loss against Hudson on the 27th.
