Basketball Game Preview: Mapleton Mounties vs. Crestview Cougars

Mapleton hasn't had much luck against Crestview recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Mounties will venture away from home to face off against the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. Mapleton has given up an average of 72 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Thursday, Mapleton might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Plymouth an easy 78-52 victory.

Meanwhile, Crestview was just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 59-58 to Monroeville.

Mapleton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Crestview, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Mapleton couldn't quite finish off Crestview in their previous meeting back in January and fell 59-56. Can the Mounties avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
