Volleyball Recap: Oswego Comes Up Short

Oswego was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Jayhawk Linn Jayhawks. The Indians were not able to make up for their loss to the Jayhawks from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-11.

Autumn Neblett paced Oswego's offense, picking up four kills. Neblett got some help from Kodi Trimble and her six assists.

Oswego's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Jayhawk Linn, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

Coincidentally, Oswego and Jayhawk Linn will both be playing Chetopa the next time they take the court. The Jayhawks will host the Hornets on Thursday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
