There's no place like home for Aiken, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Airport Eagles with a sharp 7-0 victory on Monday. Considering the Fighting Green Hornets have won three games by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Airport from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Norah Drumming led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Aiken's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Airport, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Aiken will be playing at home against Gilbert at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Gilbert will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Aiken surely won't give up without a fight. As for Airport, they will head out on the road to challenge Midland Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Airport will be up against Midland Valley's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.78 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
