Chester has gone a perfect 6-0 against Buford recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Cyclones will head out to take on the Yellow Jackets at 7:45 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses apiece dating back to last season.

Chester is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 58 points last Tuesday, they were much more limited against Rock Hill on Wednesday. They were dealt a 69-28 defeat at the hands of the Bearcats.

Meanwhile, Buford came up short against Catawba Ridge on Wednesday and fell 59-51.

Buford's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chester, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Chester strolled past Buford when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 57-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cyclones since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
