Volleyball Recap: Southern Wells Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

Southern Wells won the last time they faced Monroe Central, and Kaylee Davis did her part to make sure it happened again. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Golden Bears on Tuesday with plenty of help from Davis, who had 15 digs. Davis is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

While Southern Wells won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-9, 26-24.

The win made it two in a row for Southern Wells and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Monroe Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Southern Wells is taking a road trip to take on Mississinewa at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monroe Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Union on the 27th.
