Basketball Recap: Tripp-Delmont/Armour Find Success

On Tuesday, the Tripp-Delmont/Armour Nighthawks didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Irene/Wakonda Eagles, but they still walked away with a 61-56 victory.

Despite the loss, Irene/Wakonda saw an underclassman step up: freshman Hayden Hansen went 6-for-12 to rack up 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cain Healy, who posted five points in addition to nine rebounds and eight blocks.

Tripp-Delmont/Armour now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Irene/Wakonda, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-9.

Tripp-Delmont/Armour didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-53 win against Avon on the 13th. As for Irene/Wakonda, they have also already played their next game, a 71-53 victory against Marty Indian on the 13th.
