Chapin waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Loretto Angels. The Huskies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Angels, too.

Zoeh Cereceres paced Chapin's offense, picking up 16 kills. Cereceres got some help from Patricia Myres and her 22 assists. Myres also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Genesis Torres, racking up two apiece.

Chapin's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Loretto, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Chapin has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against El Paso Leadership Academy East on the 15th. As for Loretto, they will face off against Santa Teresa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
