Kingsway waltzed into their match on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came out on top against the Timber Creek Regional Chargers by a score of 5-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-1 on May 7th.

Nate Ford spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Kingsway's win was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Gollon, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Kyle Shields was another, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one double.

Kingsway pushed their record up to 20-6-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Timber Creek Regional, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14.
