Soccer Recap: Deltona Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Deltona was not quite Umatilla's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Umatilla Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.

Deltona's goal came courtesy of Trinity Bryant, which was the first she's scored this season.

Deltona's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Umatilla, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Deltona wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Atlantic on the 12th. As for Umatilla, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Crooms Academy on the 16th.
