Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Cherokee Bluff

Cherokee Bluff entered their tilt with White County on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Warriors. The Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

While Cherokee Bluff might've won, it sure wasn't easy: White County scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19.

Cherokee Bluff's offense was headlined by Taylor Vandiver and Brooklyn Knight, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Bella Sweet and her 13 assists. Knight was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Cherokee Bluff's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for White County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10.

Looking ahead, Cherokee Bluff will be playing at home against West Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for White County, they will head out to face off against Habersham Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
