Volleyball Recap: Garretson Blue Dragons vs. Alcester-Hudson Cubs
Garretson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Alcester-Hudson Cubs. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Garretson took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-27, 20-25, 25-22, 15-6.

Despite the loss, Garretson saw an underclassman step up: freshman Bryn Stiefvater had 11 digs and three aces. Those 11 digs set a new season-high mark for Stiefvater. Ava Peters also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.
