If East Carter wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Kennett, they should've done a better job of containing Alyce Edwards. The Kennett Indians secured a 60-56 W over the East Carter Redbirds on Friday thanks in part to Edwards, who went 12 of 26 en route to 39 points and seven steals. Her morning made it ten games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Alaina Edwards, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

The win got Kennett back to even at 5-5. As for East Carter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Kennett didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-42 loss against Twin Rivers on the 28th. As for East Carter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 54-39 defeat against Bunker on the 3rd.
