Basketball Game Preview: Temple City Rams vs. Jurupa Hills Spartans

The Temple City Rams will take on the Jurupa Hills Spartans in a tournament on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Temple City saw some tournament action on Saturday. They slipped by San Gabriel 42-41. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Temple City's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyler Chang, who posted 12 points. That's the most points Chang has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Collins, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards.

Meanwhile, Jurupa Hills strolled past Duarte with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 70-53.

Temple City is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.4 points per game. As for Jurupa Hills, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.
