Culver City lost to Santa Monica back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Centaurs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Vikings. The game was the first time the Centaurs have beaten the Vikings on their court since September 29, 2021.

Culver City had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-14, 25-23, 25-18.

Culver City's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Santa Monica, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Looking ahead, Culver City will challenge Notre Dame (SO) at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Santa Monica, they will take on Jurupa Valley in a tournament on Friday.
