Softball Recap: Kennebunk Rams vs. Scarborough Red Storm        
        
		
            
 Kennebunk was the  4-3 winner over Scarborough when they last played one another  back in June of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Kennebunk Rams might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  7-2 to the Scarborough Red Storm, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Kennebunk has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 For Scarborough's part,  Meghan Robinson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up six Ks. Robinson has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than six  innings in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Gabby Pelletier and  Jamie Kemper did most of the damage at the plate:  Pelletier  scored a  run while going 2-for-3, while  Kemper  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.  Alana Sawyer was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 Kennebunk now  has a losing record at 8-9. As for Scarborough, the  victory was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.
 Kennebunk does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Scarborough, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marshwood at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday.
