Basketball Recap: Southeast Has No Trouble Against Liberty

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against LaBrae, Southeast was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took down the Liberty Leopards 55-38. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-30 back in January.

Southeast's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points over those games. As for Liberty, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Coming up, Southeast will welcome Newton Falls at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Newton Falls will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Southeast surely won't give up without a fight. As for Liberty, they will venture away from home to square off against Crestview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
