Tomball Kings won against Covenant Christian on Monday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. Tomball Kings beat the Heights Bulldogs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 9-5. The victory was nothing new for the Homeschool as they're now sitting on six straight.

Carson Riippa tossed a big game, tossing 4.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Avery Bell, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. He has become a key player for Tomball Kings: the team is 6-2 when he posts at least three hits, but 8-10-1 otherwise. Hayden Cain was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.

Tomball Kings kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in February.

Tomball Kings' record is now 14-12-1. As for Heights, their loss ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tomball Kings will head out to square off against Alpha Omega Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Alpha Omega Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Tomball Kings' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Heights, they will head out on the road to take on Lamar at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
