Basketball Recap: Christian Life Preparatory Drops Season-High Score on Varsity Opponent

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Trinity Christian, Christian Life Preparatory was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against Varsity Opponent by a score of 73-62. The Knights' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Christian Life Preparatory's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was David Wardlaw, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards. With that strong performance, Wardlaw is now averaging an impressive 8.2 boards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Okruhlik, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 16 points and six rebounds.

Christian Life Preparatory moved to 4-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Christian Life Preparatory didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 72-42 win against Prestonwood Christian North on the 12th. As for Varsity Opponent, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 46-32 victory against Brashier Middle College Charter on the 10th.
