Soccer Recap: Temple Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Temple Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the State Line Christian Patriots. While losing is never fun, Temple Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 371st in Ohio, while State Line Christian are ranked 88th in Michigan).

Temple Christian Academy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for State Line Christian, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-3-1.

Looking ahead, State Line Christian will challenge Heritage Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Temple Christian Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Patriots' contest: after the Patriots face off against Bowling Green Christian Academy, they'll take on Temple Christian Academy again at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
