Baseball Recap: McLoud Comes Up Short

The McLoud Redskins didn't have quite enough to beat the Lexington Bulldogs on Friday and fell 4-3.

McLoud saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jason Key, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

McLoud's loss dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Lexington, the win got them back to even at 17-17.

Looking ahead, McLoud will look to defend their home field on Monday against Woodland at 5:00 p.m. Lexington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
