Volleyball Recap: Latta's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Latta had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They came out on top against the Green Sea Floyds Trojans by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Latta had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-14, 25-22, 25-23.

Latta's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Green Sea Floyds, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Latta is set to take on their familiar foe Carvers Bay at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Green Sea Floyds will face off against rival Johnsonville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
