Softball Recap: National Cathedral Wins Going Away Against Georgetown Day

National Cathedral had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Georgetown Day on Thursday. National Cathedral was the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over Georgetown Day. Considering National Cathedral has won four contests by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Ryan Walker was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Walker was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs.

In other batting news, Iyanna Edwards was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Viola Sinbondit, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

National Cathedral was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .429 or higher in four consecutive matchups.
