Recap: FAU High Owls vs. Dreyfoos School of the Arts Jaguars
The FAU High Owls kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a rough 47-11 loss at the hands of Dreyfoos School of the Arts. FAU High was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-3.
Dreyfoos School of the Arts got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Athalie Bazile out in front who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Kaitlyn Maldonado, who scored 9 points.
FAU High's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Dreyfoos School of the Arts, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
FAU High will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Trinity Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. Hopefully Trinity Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday. Dreyfoos School of the Arts won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Forest Hill at 6:00 p.m. on November 30th.
