There's no place like home for Calvary Chapel, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They walked away with a 12-7 win over the Katella Knights on Monday. With that victory, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Bella Bos and Jacqueline Brito did most of the damage at the plate: Bos got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one double, while Brito went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was Brito's first of the season. Jaden Woods was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and one run.

The win snapped Calvary Chapel's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-15 record. As for Katella, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-13.

Calvary Chapel will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Knights: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
