Volleyball Recap: Crooms Academy Panthers vs. Seminole Seminoles

Crooms Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seminole Seminoles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Seminoles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on April 5th.

While Crooms Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Seminole work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 20-25, 26-24, 25-12.

Leading Seminole to victory were Orion Gaines and Anthony Olson. Gaines had 11 digs, while Olson had 14 digs, 12 kills, and four aces. Olson is crushing it when it comes to kills: he's had at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aedan Grover, who had 11 digs and three aces.
