Basketball Recap: Northwood-Kensett Picks Up 13th Consecutive Victory

Northwood-Kensett put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the West Fork Warhawks 75-37. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 22 points or more this season.

Northwood-Kensett pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points per game. As for West Fork, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Northwood-Kensett will square off against North Union at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Northwood-Kensett has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for West Fork, they will challenge Newman Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Newman Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully West Fork likes a good challenge.
