Softball Recap: Bristol Eastern's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

After flying high against Avon last Tuesday, Bristol Eastern came back down to earth. The Lancers fell 9-6 to the Bristol Central Rams on Monday. The Lancers' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Gracie Brown was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Emily Valentine was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Bristol Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Bristol Central, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-13.

Bristol Eastern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bristol Central, they will challenge Farmington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams are facing the River Hawks at the right time seeing as the River Hawks are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
