Baseball Recap: Prescott Comes Up Short

Prescott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-4 to the Parkers Chapel Trojans. The Curley Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Prescott saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dalton Stockton, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Wes Cornelius also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Prescott's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Parkers Chapel, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prescott will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Harmony Grove at 5:00 p.m. on March 31st. As for Parkers Chapel, they will challenge Fordyce at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
