Soccer Game Preview: Parrish Community vs. North Port

The Parrish Community Bulls will head out to square off against the North Port Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. North Port took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Parrish Community, who comes in off a win.

Parrish Community proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by four) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They beat Braden River by a goal, winning 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Parrish Community sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Aleah Killan and Mia Guerrero scored both of Parrish Community's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Meanwhile, North Port didn't have quite enough to beat Venice on Wednesday and fell 2-1.

Parrish Community's win bumped their record up to 3-1-2. As for North Port, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1.

Parrish Community was able to grind out a solid victory over North Port in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulls since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
