After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Braden River, Southeast was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They snuck past the Lakewood Ranch Mustangs with a 53-47 win. The victory continues a trend for the Seminoles in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won seven in a row.

Southeast's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Lakewood Ranch, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.
