Volleyball Recap: Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles vs. Herron Achaeans

After flying high against Heritage Christian on Thursday, Guerin Catholic came back down to earth. The Golden Eagles fell just short of the Herron Achaeans by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Golden Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Achaeans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Among those leading the charge was Eddie Ramirez, who had 12 digs and two assists.

Guerin Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 16 of their last 17 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season. As for Herron, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.
