Basketball Recap: Bishop DuBourg Takes a Loss

Bishop DuBourg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Valley Park Hawks, falling 71-32. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 591st, while the Hawks are ranked 185th).

Bishop DuBourg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Valley Park, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop DuBourg will face off against St. Francis Borgia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Valley Park, they will take on DeSoto at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
