Baseball Recap: Wednesday's Victory Is West Rowan's 11th in Last 12 Outings

West Rowan won the last time they faced South Iredell and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Falcons came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 5-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Brice Knox was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

West Rowan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for South Iredell, their record is now 16-7.

West Rowan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Iredell, they are taking a road trip to face off against Cox Mill at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Vikings are facing the Chargers at the right time seeing as the Chargers are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
