Basketball Game Preview: Estes Park Bobcats vs. Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles

The Estes Park Bobcats will head out on the road to take on the Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Estes Park has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 2.

Last Thursday, Estes Park lost to Gilpin County on the road by a 37-19 margin. The Bobcats were down 33-9 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dayspring Christian Academy). They blew past Front Range Christian 68-30 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Estes Park's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-6.

Estes Park ended up a good deal behind Dayspring Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, losing 40-21. Can Estes Park avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
