Greencastle and Cascade are an even 4-4-2 against one another since September of 2017, but likely not for long. The Tiger Cubs will challenge the Cadets at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Greencastle sitting on three straight victories and Cascade on six.

Greencastle is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against Northview as they made off with a 7-1 win. The result was nothing new for Greencastle, who have now won 13 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Northview from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Micah Foss led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Cascade had just enough and edged out Danville 2-1 on Saturday.

Greencastle's victory bumped their record up to 16-1-1. As for Cascade, their win bumped their record up to 11-6-1.

Greencastle was able to grind out a solid victory over Cascade when the teams last played back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tiger Cubs since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
