Soccer Game Preview: Walsh Jesuit vs. Notre Dame Academy

The Walsh Jesuit Warriors are taking a road trip to face off against the Notre Dame Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Walsh Jesuit is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Ohio's top teams: St. Ursula Academy, who was ranked 22nd at the time (Walsh Jesuit was ranked 13th). The Warriors never let the Arrows get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Saturday. Walsh Jesuit haven't had any issues with St. Ursula Academy recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Wednesday. Neither Notre Dame Academy nor Eastwood could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 4-4 draw. The result was nothing new for Notre Dame Academy as the team hasn't won a game since September 6th.

With that draw, Notre Dame Academy's record moves to 2-6-3. As for Walsh Jesuit, their win bumped their record up to 8-4-1.

Walsh Jesuit took their victory against Notre Dame Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 7-2 score. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
